Accomplishments

The SSCI has supported the education of trainees and the careers of junior faculty through its annual meeting, publications, travel awards, the Research Scholar Award Program, and by taking a leadership role in mentoring.

For the past decade, the SSCI has funded $1,292,000 in travel awards for trainees who have attended the Southern Regional Meeting and $110,000 for our first four Research Scholar Award recipients.

Imagine the possibilities if we could fund travel for every trainee who attended SRM!
